EN Why to display on disk catalogue only 10 characters by disk and directory names, when in the diskette format specification it is said, that it can hold 26 characters? I put this question to myself in the beginning of 2002 and as the answer I wrote this litle BSDOS 3.08 patch. The program modifies BSDOS in a way, that it displays all 26 characters in names of directories and disks. Many thanks to Busy for telling me what and where should changes be made. WHAT TO DO WITH IT: Place it in the AUTOEXE and run it with NEW command.

CZ Proč při katalogu diskety vypisovat u disků a adresářů jen 10 znaků, když ve specifikaci k formátu diskety se dočteme, že zapsat lze znaků 26? Tuto otázku jsem si položil na začátku roku 2002 a odpověděl na ni napsáním tohoto malého patche pro BSDOS 3.08. Programek upraví BSDOS tak, aby při katalogu diskety vypisoval všech 26 znaků jména adresářů a disků. Děkuji Busymu za rady kde a co změnit.
